LAHORE LIONS FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014

Lahore Lions has reached India for the Champions League 2014. Lions are Pakistan's domestic Twenty Twenty champions and earned a spot in CLT20 qualifiers. Mohammad Hafeez will be leading the team. Other than Hafeez we have some more big names like Ahmad Shahazad, Umar Akmal and Wahab Riaz in the teams line-up. Lahore Lions is going to play their first match on 13th of September, against Mumbai Indians.
   Mohammad Hafeez said,"we are departing with confidence''. ''We all know how important the first stage is so we are focusing for qualifying for the nest round. We, as a team, have been playing some exciting cricket in last two years and the squad has gutsy players from our domestic circuit so we have an ability to fight at the top level."
  Due to rain and bad weather, team had to practice indoor usually. Lahore Lions is the third team to participate in Champions League. we have Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmad Shahzad, Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Nasir Jamshed, Umar Siddique, Asif Raza, Mohammad Salman Ali, Mustafa Iqbal, Imran Ali, Saad Naseem, Adnan Rasool, Mohammad Saeed, Ali Manzoor, Fahad Farooq and Aizaz Cheema in the squad.
